How to Choose the Right Oracle ERP Partner
Oracle NetSuite and Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) serve very different buyers, and their partner ecosystems reflect that. Getting the right partner means first being clear on which Oracle product you're implementing — and then finding a firm that has delivered it in your specific industry context.
1. NetSuite Partners vs. Oracle Cloud ERP Partners
NetSuite has a large, fragmented partner channel of Solution Providers — many are industry specialists with deep vertical expertise. Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) implementations are far more complex and are dominated by global SIs (Accenture, Wipro, Infosys) with dedicated Oracle practices. A NetSuite partner is not equipped to implement Oracle Fusion, and vice versa.
2. Verify NetSuite Star Rating and Tier
NetSuite's official partner tiers (Solution Provider, Star ratings) reflect delivery volume and customer satisfaction. Higher-tier partners have more certified consultants and a stronger track record. Ask for your partner's NetSuite tier and how many NetSuite-certified consultants they employ full-time — not just contractors.
3. For Oracle Fusion: Global Delivery Capacity Matters
Oracle Cloud ERP implementations at the enterprise level involve multi-country tax localization, complex chart of accounts redesign, and integration with HR and supply chain. The partner must have genuine experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), and OTBI reporting — not just the core Financials module.
4. Reference the Industry Vertical
Oracle NetSuite's strength lies in its industry-specific editions for software/SaaS, professional services, wholesale distribution, and manufacturing. Find a partner who specializes in your vertical and ask for three references with companies of comparable ARR, headcount, and transaction volume.
