Cloud-Only (No On-Premise)
D365 Finance & SCM is cloud-only on Azure. No on-premise deployment option. Organizations with strict on-premise requirements for regulatory compliance must look elsewhere.
Separate App Licensing Complexity
Finance and Supply Chain are sold as separate apps at $180/user/mo each. Users needing both pay $180 + $30 = $210/user/mo. This dual-app model can confuse buyers and inflate costs if not planned carefully.
